For this project I was asked to design a site for the Beach Boys with interactive elements which hook visitors and encourage them to spend time.
To do this I chose a tool in three steps to create a custom album they can buy. Fans can record their own version of their favorite song, select a playlist for their album, then customize the look of their vinyl.
I chose a beachy aesthetic consistent with the Beach Boys and I created illustrations related to the beach and surfing. I chose to use vinyls and a turntable to illustrate the musical aspect while respecting the technologies from the time of the songs. The design is modern but still nostalgic.
